Lily, the founder, has always been driven by an insatiable curiosity to try new sports, embrace new experiences, and unleash her creative talents. Growing up, Lilof refurbishing furniture, sewing, and transforming everyday objects. This upbringing instilled in Lily a love for repurposing and breathed life into her own artistic aspirations. Growing up, Lily was fortunate to witness her parents's artistic endeavors, witnessing the magic of refurbishing furniture to sewing and breathing new life into forgotten treasures. This creative upbringing ignited Lily's passion for crafting and repurposing, shaping her journey towards the birth of the extraordinary brand, Wostmanted.
The story of Wostmanted began on a surf trip, as Lily found herself in need of a surf towel. Serendipitously, during a stop at an op shop, she stumbled upon a collection of second-hand towels. Captivated by the idea of repurposing these materials, Lily purchased a few towels and embarked on a journey of self-expression.
With her hands and heart, Lily skillfully transformed those humble towels into a surf poncho, adding her own touch by hand-dyeing the fabric. Little did she know, that surf poncho would become a cherished companion, accompanying her on countless beach days and inspiring awe among her friends. They encouraged her to make a few more; sparking the seed that grew into Wostmanted.

Thrilled by the opportunity to dive into the world of climbing once again, a new idea began to take root in Lily's mind. Why not utilize the leftover fabric from her beloved surf ponchos to create something purposeful for climbers? And so, the production of chalk bags commenced, extending the spirit of Wostmanted to the realm of rock climbing.
